• India's the worst-hit country on terror charts after Iraq on all counts-incidents ,deaths,injured-except one ,hostages ,for which Nepal is No 1, Iraq No 2 & India No 3.
  
• South Asia is the global terror  hotspot, accounting for almost half the world's (minus-Iraq) terror-related deaths.
• Islamist extremists caused about 11,400 of the 24,614 deaths for which responsibility has been fixed.
